Ways on How to Set Reminders on Your New Computer with Cortana
Cortana is a personal assistant feature introduced in Windows 10 that’s similar to apps on smartphones that respond to your voice requests for directions, a list of nearby restaurants, current weather conditions, and more.
One of the things Cortana can do, whether with a voice command or a text you enter into her search box, is to set appointments.
- Click in the Cortana search box to open Cortana and then click the Reminders button. (If you need a reference to the Reminders button, just click the More button at the top of the navigation bar). The Reminders panel opens.
- Click the Add button (the + shape button at the bottom right of the panel) and then in the resulting panel (see figure) fill in the details of what you want to be reminded to do, including the date and time. When you click on a field like People, you may be taken to an app to make the selection. Click the Reminder button.
