Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is a vast, treeless plain where millions of animals live or pass through in search of fresh grasslands. Famous for its annual wildebeest migration but you can also see the Big Five here, nearly 500 species of birds have been recorded in the Serengeti.
As the second largest national park in Tanzania, Serengeti attracts tens of thousands of tourists every year. The best months for wildlife viewing in the Serengeti National Park are between June and September. The rainy season runs from March to May, with the coldest period from June to October.
The annual migration of more than 1.5 million wild animals and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles occurs in May or early June. This migration is one of the most impressive natural events and is a primary attraction for many tourists.
