TPDC Organisation Structure | TPDC – Tanzania Petroleum Development CorporationTPDC Ajira Mpya, TPDC Jobs, Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) is the country’s national oil company and carries out the policies for petroleum exploration and development set forth by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. TPDC employs roughly 400 people and is divided into three units, a communication unit, a procurement unit, and a risk management unit. Its seven directorates are: upstream, downstream, finance, legal services, cooperative strategy and planning, corporate management, and internal audit. In accordance with the Public Corporations Act No.17 of 1969, TPDC was founded by Government Notice No.140 of May 30, 1969. In 1973, the Corporation started operating. The Treasurer Registrar owns every share of TPDC, a government parastatal that is entirely controlled by the government.
